A Silent Truth

Happiness is the RIGHT of all and understanding provides the key.
A wonderfully sensitive coming out story of very young boy. It sould be required viewing by all parents whether or not they think they might have a gay child. It could lead to a better understanding of the dilemma young gays often face in the hostile environment around them in the world and too often in their own home. All children deserve an understanding, loving home and a supportive neighborhood free of bullies. Sexual identification should never be a problem and this can only happen by acceptance and understanding. This movie provides lesson in these requirements.

"What do I do when my Mom stops being proud of me?"
Those are th most poignant words spoken by our main character, a boy, who is wrestling with his sexuality. In the end this movie scores a home run! There is one melodramatic scene in which the mother learns that her son is gay and she explodes and says "I want you out of the house!" but then, the movie focuses back on Tyler. That is the movie's strength.

I recommend this movie to all families.

If you are reading this, then watch it
Although the acting is not exactly first rate, but very good, nor very long about 45 minutes, but the message is very clear. Both of the main characters (the 2 adolescents) have a great future ahead of them. To be seen by all age groups, especially adults.
