Love the background, love gary ;)
I bought this as we didn't get the documentary in the states. I loved seeing how he put the song together and the places he visited and the people.
On Her Majesty's Service
The story of how Andrew Lloyd Weber and Gary Barlow teamed up to create the signature song for the Queen's Jubilee. It is a fascinating story of Gary Barlow writing the lyrics in Africa and then traveling throughout the Commonwealth to record the variety of singers and instruments seldom seen. Their completed product was "Sing".....absolutely beautiful. Also the moments spent with Queen Elizabeth when "Sing" is watched and presented to her.
Beautiful, beautiful documentary
This is a beautiful documentary, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was entranced with every minute of it, and have watched it three times. It was wonderful to see Gary Barlow bring joy and recognition into the lives of these young and old artists, and I was thrilled to later learn that many of them were actually flown to London to perform at the Jubilee concert.
I won't quickly forget the faces of those beautiful African girls, and their lovely voices. Gary was charming and easy with all he met, and continually showed his love of what he was doing. Nicely done.....
